Food and Mood
Food and Mood is a journal for what you eat and drink, how you feel, how you move and how your digestion goes. It turns your days into a tidy spreadsheet to send to your nutritionist.
Sending your journal
Open the Share tab, choose the days, and pick Excel, PDF or CSV. The Excel workbook has an overview, every moment in one table, a summary of each day, and a page for each day laid out like the paper journal.
Bringing in your old spreadsheet
On the Share tab, choose “Bring in a spreadsheet” and pick the Food & Mood Journal workbook. Times are put in order through the day, and anything that needed a guess is listed for you to check. Importing the same file twice doesn't double anything.
Describing a moment in your own words
On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, type something like “oatmeal and coffee at 8, feeling rested” in the box at the bottom of Today. Food and Mood fills in the columns and shows them to you before saving. It works on your iPhone, and nothing is sent anywhere.
iCloud
Your journal is kept in your own iCloud, so it's there on a new iPhone. If Settings in the app says it's on this iPhone only, sign in to iCloud in the Settings app.
