Privacy Policy
Effective 30 October 2026.
Asteria Food and Mood is a journal app made by Asteria Technology. This policy says what happens to what you write in it.
We don't collect your data
- Your journal is saved on your iPhone and in your own iCloud account, in a private database only you can reach. Apple stores it for you under Apple's privacy policy. Asteria Technology can't see it.
- Your name and water goal are kept in your iCloud too, so your other devices have them.
- There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
The AI
The app's AI features use Apple Intelligence on your iPhone. What you type to them, and your journal when you ask for a summary, are processed on the device and are not sent to Asteria Technology or anyone else.
Sharing
When you export your journal (Excel, PDF or CSV), the file is made on your iPhone. You choose where it goes, for example to your nutritionist. Once you send it, the person you send it to holds that copy.
Deleting your journal
Delete moments in the app. To remove everything, delete the app. Then, in Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Account Storage, delete Food and Mood's data.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at asteria.technology/foodandmood/privacy with a new date. Questions: asteria.technology.
