Privacy Policy

We don't collect your data
- Your tabs, Spaces, bookmarks, history and downloads list are stored only on your device. Asteria Technology never receives them.
- There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
Search
When you search, your device sends the search words directly to Wikipedia, DuckDuckGo and Bing to get results. Those services handle the request under their own privacy policies. The request identifies the app as Asteria Browse; it does not include an account or anything that identifies you to Asteria Technology.
Websites
Pages you open are loaded by Apple's WebKit, directly from those websites, which may use cookies and other data under their own policies. You can see and remove website data in the app. Private tabs keep site data in a temporary store that is discarded when the tab closes.
Camera, microphone and location
A website can use these only after you allow it in the app, and the system asks for your permission first.
The on-device overview
On devices with Apple Intelligence, the optional overview is written on your device from the search snippets. Nothing is sent to Asteria Technology.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13.
